Fiji is noted for its intimate “bures” (boo-rays), modeled after traditional thatched Fijian buildings.  These resort bures, attractive and more spacious than many hotels suites, are usually widely spaced for privacy and free flow of ocean breezes.

From small intimate Coral Coast resorts to upscale five star island resorts featured in the Blue Lagoon, to a private island retreat where the only guests are you, your spouse, and your friends, you’ll feel at home in Fiji.

Fiji offers exquisite island resorts.  One wise choice is the Qamea Resort and Spa an exclusive tropical destination for discerning travelers seeking a truly unique and authentic Fijian experience without sacrificing luxury or service.  The jewel of Fiji's northern islands, Qamea is a breathtakingly beautiful island of dramatic lush, green, tropical jungle clad hills and white sand beaches. You will feel as if you have entered a Fijian village set in a South Pacific tropical paradise.

A popular resort with honeymooners the Qamea Resort and Spa caters to a maximum of twenty-eight adults in luxuriously appointed Fijian style beachfront bures and villas with king-size beds, sitting area, large bathrooms, outdoor showers, verandahs with hammocks.

Qamea’s activities are diverse:  crab hunts, Hobie Cat sailing, wind surfing, sea kayaking, staff and guest volleyball, fishing, guided jungle hikes, bird watching.  Some of the world’s premier dive sites are located just off the white sand shores of Qamea Resort and nearby Taveuni Island.  Qamea’s PADI dive operation will take you to world-class sites as the Purple Wall and Qamea Freeway.  Most of the dive sites are within ten minutes of the resort.

During your stay, be sure to take time to unwind and relax into bliss with an extensive menu of Fijian body therapies in the new Jungle Spa.

Planning your wedding, what could be better than exchanging your vows on the beautiful island of Qamea?  Whether a private wedding or full Fijian cultural experience, your Qamea wedding will be an occasion you will treasure throughout your lives.
