Having just returned from what can only be described as an amazing honeymoon we would just like to thank you and Snug Harbour Tours for planning such a wonderful experience. From the time that we landed in Cape Town to the time we departed Mauritius 3 weeks later, our honeymoon just kept going from strength to strength. We were really impressed with the places where we stayed over the 3 weeks. We were particularly fond of the guest house accommodation, where the owners provided great insight into things to see and do during our stay. Were it not for your recommendation we would not have had the opportunity to sample what these beautiful guest houses and South Africa had to offer.  The travel route we took was perfect and all the transfers went seamlessly.  The safari was amazing and we saw the 'Big 5' and much more.    Your expert knowledge was more than helpful in the planning stages, and we absolutely enjoyed every minute of our honeymoon and we thank you for making it so special!

• Our trip to Greece was incredible, we went to Athens, Meteora, Mykonos and Santorini.
• Itinerary was very well organized by Snug Harbour Tours with seamless cab transfers from airports to hotels, hotels to ferry etc.
• All hotel, ferry and transportation vouchers were all handed over to us right away as soon as we landed.
• Even with a situation of porter strike during our stay, hotels and ferries were very well  rearranged as necessary.
• Our 2 day Bus trip to Meteora from Athens was amazing, so glad we did the bus tour especially with a 3 year old instead of driving ourselves.
• Ferry schedules were perfectly timed between islands, didn’t have to wait hours like other people we saw.
• Hotels were amazing right next to the beach with amazing service. People were so friendly and helpful.
• Air travel both to and from Greece was very comfortable.

We went to Chile and Argentina for our honeymoon….It was comforting to always have a friendly face waiting for us at the airport and guides who tailored their tours to our interests.

A highlight of our vacation was our cruise around Tierra del Fuego on a small 120-passenger ship.  The friendly crew, the wonderfully international group of passengers (over 20 nationalities), amazing accommodations, and delicious food were just the basis of the cruise….As you drift closer your destination your skillful driver must weave between large pieces of glacial ice.  You look around you and realize that the ship has brought you to the base of a mountain with glacial drifts appearing through the cloud-cover. 

Another highlight was our trip to Iguazu Falls…Buenos Aires was wonderful to explore as well.  We were appreciative to have a guide take us through the city on our first day to point us to the interesting neighborhoods and restaurants that we then returned to on our own.  “Thank you for a great honeymoon!"

From beginning to end, it was such a glorious experience.  The three days in Lisbon, and the unbelievable peaceful cruise to all of the ports was something I hope never to forget.  The cruise director, guides, and the crew on the ship were friendly, courteous, and professiona…There was a diverse group of people on the cruise and yet a feeling of togetherness developed over a short number of days.  PLEASE encourage everyone who wants to be reminded of the beauty that God has given us, to take a trip to Portugal, organized by you, of course.

We are still talking about, and showing pictures of, our maiden voyage to South Africa.  The Cape Grace Hotel fully deserves its rating as the best hotel in the world….The Blue Train was incredible….Londolozzi game camp was incredible.  The first trip out in the Range Rover we saw what hardly anyone ever sees, a leopard….What a trip! We had a great vacation and appreciate the schedule and itinerary you helped put together for us.  Metropolitan Tours had someone to meet us and take our hand at all transfers and thank goodness they did, as it could have been quite confusing getting around Galapagos. We went from airport to bus to ferry to cab, then to another ferry then walked to the lovely Finch Bay Hotel. It was a wonderful hotel that we would highly recommend to anyone going to the Galapagos…We'll be in touch and hopefully before too long we can try for another great trip.

Just a note to say that our trip to Ecuador was fantastic….
We met many interesting people, did a lot of snorkeling, walking. The birds, mammals, iguanas, sea lions were fantastic…Also the land trip to Cuenca was excellent.  We had great meals, an excellent guide.  Our group was small; there were 3 British guys and 1 Spanish man.  Mansion Alcazar was the most beautiful hotel I ever stayed at. The train ride was so much fun. The weather was great except for one day when we went to Cotopaxi.   Thanks for your hard work and diligence.
